Summit Point Farm is home to our family sporting lifestyle. Conveniently located on the northern banks of the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal, at the foot of the Summit Bridge in Delaware not far from US 301 and I-95, we're pleased to share photos of our COUNTRY, SPORT and ANIMALS with you!

Very fortunate to be situated a few miles east of the Northern Neck of the fabled Eastern Shore of Maryland's Chesapeake Bay, our locale is famous for EZ living and unparalled natural beauty. The rich black sandy loam of our Delmarva Peninsula is very much responsible for a highly productive, self contained agricultural economy featuring grain and poultry farms which lend themselves to our sporting activities. Delmarva's big farm fields are interspersed with hedgerows, overgrown drainage ditches, brushy woodlots, pinewoods, lowlands criss-crossed with creeks, guts and marshy river bottoms. No doubt, we're in spectacular WATERFOWL and idyllic UPLAND BIRD country.

But there's another story here too. The Chesapeake City area southwest of our farm is reknown for it's sporthorse and racehorse breeding and training industry. No doubt about it, this is HORSE COUNTRY long known as the BLUEGRASS OF THE EAST. We're surely fortunate to have access to a rich local equine tradition and the infrastructure to support it PLUS thousands of acres of equestrian trails and wildlands at our doorstep on which to run our bird dogs and work our walking horses on the trail. Come visit us and enjoy spending some time afield on horseback or following one of our bird dogs. By the way, we also enjoy followin' the Wicomico Hounds during Fox Hunting Season!
